Rhythm Time Celebrates 30 Years of Music and Memories in Solihull
Rhythm Time, the award-winning children’s music programme founded in Solihull 30 years ago, marked its milestone anniversary with a special celebration at The Discovery Room, John Lewis, Touchwood, on Wednesday 1 October 2025.
Families joined Councillor Annette MacKenzie, Mayor of Solihull, for joyful music-making sessions designed to support babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in their early development. Children were also delighted to see the return of Rhythm Time’s much-loved puppets, Arabella and Ratatat, following their exciting makeovers.
Franchise owner Jhodi Kennard said:
“I was delighted to welcome our Rhythm Time families to celebrate this milestone in Solihull, the place where it all began. Celebrating our 30th anniversary is incredibly special, and it’s wonderful to see Founder Kathy Doolan’s legacy still enriching the lives of children and parents today.”
Locally, Rhythm Time Solihull runs classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in venues across Solihull, Shirley, Olton, and Kings Heath. Families are invited to come along, join the fun, and see why these classes have been loved by generations. Families can enjoy their first class free if booked before 10 October using the codes 1STFREEPIA (Pay in Advance) or 1STFREEMON (Monthly Plan).
