The John Lewis Partnership theme for Black History Month 2024 is inspired by the Black History Month UK - “Reclaiming Narratives”. 
This theme underscores a commitment to correcting historical inaccuracies and showcasing the untold success stories and the full complexity of Black heritage. 
It’s about taking control of stories and honouring heroes while challenging the narratives that have often overlooked the contributions and achievements of Black individuals both in the UK and globally.
Here in Solihull branch we are celebrating Black led or Black majority brands including small businesses.
We welcome DeRoiste Natural Beauty, Ingrained Oil and Curl Jar to our Style Studio for pop ups during October and into November. They will be running masterclasses and demonstrations of their products as well as telling their stories.
