COVID-19 Community Testing Hub is now open in Solihull Town Centre
Solihull Council’s first COVID-19 Community Testing Hub is now open on Solihull High Street, next to Halifax Bank.
The Hub is another way for residents to get rapid, COVID tests, either by taking one there and then (under 18’s will need a parent or guardian with them) or by collecting a supply of tests to do at home.
This is an accessible, walk-in service for people without COVID symptoms. No appointment is required. Simply turn up during opening hours and speak to a member of staff who can guide you through the testing process. We will be visiting local retailers over the weekend to discuss our testing offer, encouraging staff and customers to visit the Hub and test regularly.
Opening hours will be as follows:
Saturday – 09:30am-4:30pm
Sunday – 10:00am-3:30pm
Monday-Friday – 08:00am-5:30pm
If you need to contact the Hub for test result or general test enquiries at this site, please phone 07554 225531 (line open during the above opening hours).
Remember to wear a face covering (unless exempt) and maintain social distancing when entering the Hub. You may have to queue, so please follow the signs of where to do this.
The testing centre at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre will close today, Friday 14 May.
Residents can still book a test at Newington Resource Centre which is open Mon-Fri.
